Meet Melanie

Hi, I’m Melanie, the founder of MindByMel. I’m a Neuroscientist, somatic teacher, and certified trauma-informed breathwork facilitator with a passion for bridging science and human experience.
For as long as I can remember, I was a high achiever — a competitive athlete, a gifted student, and someone always pushing for more. That drive eventually caught up with me: by 21, I had checked into a burnout clinic twice. It was a turning point that pushed me to understand stress, resilience, and the nervous system on the deepest level.
Since then, I’ve earned degrees in Neuroscience, Psychology, and Philosophy, and trained in over a dozen modalities including breathwork, yoga, authentic relating, ice-bath facilitation, and mental performance coaching. Over the past 4 years, I’ve guided hundreds of people — from athletes and high-performing professionals to corporate groups and individuals — through practices that help them reconnect their mind and body, regulate their nervous system, and build lasting resilience.
My mission is simple: to make science-backed, practical tools accessible, so you can stress less, recover faster, and live more fully — without sacrificing your health or passion.
